Surgical Technologist - Green

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic at Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery, and organ transplantation. We are seeking a detail -oriented tech who prepares the ORs for scheduled procedures during off-peak hours and then will assist with first case preparedness, department breaks, and lunches. You will work closely to ensure equipment and rooms are sterile and ready to use. You will scrub for cases and anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. Your work will be appreciated as you contribute to the overall well-being of the team and patients.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
- Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
