About The Position
The Kansas Surgery and Recovery Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Scrub Technician to join their surgical team. The OR Scrub Tech plays a vital role in providing safe, efficient patient care by preparing the operating room before surgical procedures and assisting surgeons during procedures, adhering to all safety, infection control and regulatory requirements. The facility is the leading orthopedic surgery specialty hospital in Kansas with over 100 physicians performing elective procedures across numerous specialties providing exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or formal training as an OR Technician
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to provide documentation demonstrating employment eligibility as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
- Passing physical and drug screen
- Passing background check
- Passing Medicare sanction check
Nice To Haves
- Surgical technologist certificate preferred
- 1 year previous OR experience preferred
