About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution, offering premium compensation and maximum flexibility for experienced Surgical Technologists. We utilize these professionals to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, with nationwide and regional opportunities available. Qualified candidates will float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions. The role involves assessing patient needs, identifying outcomes, planning and implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. Surgical Technologists act independently within their scope of practice, retain accountability for their decisions, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to quality improvement, exhibit agility, and embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST
If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years’ work experience is required
Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
Ability to complete the orientation and training.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program for Surgical Technologist.
