About The Position

Come join our exceptional Surgical team !! Will not be called in from home if on call !! Able to have a great quality of life !
Provides technical support to the surgeon, registered nurses, and anesthesiologist in the operating room and works to create a safe and sterile environment before, during and after patient surgery.

Requirements

• Certification required
• 1-2 years experience

Nice To Haves

• Ortho/spine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all supplies and equipment needed for the procedure are present and in working order.
• Assists with inventory and pulling cases
• Sets up and maintains sterile field according to established practices
• Assists with patient positioning and draping
• Passes instruments, supplies and equipment to the surgeon
• Perform counts, prepare and handle sterile dressings
• Assist other team members with turn over of the operating room
