About The Position
The Surgical Technologist Team Lead attends the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to provide for an optimum peri-operative experience. This team leader provides leadership through activities that include development of staff, teaching, precepting, and quality improvements. The role is based in a state-of-the-art hospital in Jacksonville, which includes 34 operating rooms, an IMRI OR suite, and a dedicated endovascular OR suite. The hospital utilizes modern equipment and advanced technology to merge the art of healing with the science of medicine.
