We are currently seeking a passionate individual who is eager to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment. Assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery. The technologist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

• AST certification required and AST or NCCT certification maintained.
• Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program
• AST certification, AST or NCCT recertification.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to continuity of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Facilitates daily operations/flow of work of assigned area(s).
• Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff by following policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Participates in the achievement of unit/department fiscal goals.
