About The Position

Seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist (OR) to assist in delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room. You will function under the supervision of the RN and surgical team, maintaining sterile fields and supporting surgical procedures in accordance with AORN standards.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
• Minimum 2+ years of OR experience
• Active Surgical Technologist Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
• Excellent aseptic and sterile technique practices
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Physical ability to assist with patient movement and equipment handling

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of OR experience preferred
• Experience in Orthopedic, General, Vascular, and C-Section cases preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field using aseptic techniques
• Assist surgeons during procedures (scrub/assist role)
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Perform sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
• Anticipate surgeon needs to ensure efficient procedures
• Support patient positioning, prepping, and draping
• Maintain OR safety, infection control, and documentation standards
