About The Position

Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Prepares surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Hands required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures. Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery.

Requirements

• High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
