Requirements

• Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably at an advanced level (Surgical Technologist II).
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required, BLS
• Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Maintain and inspect surgical instruments and equipment for proper functioning.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient and effective patient care.
• Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with surgical technology advancements.
