About The Position
A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist to support surgical teams in a fast-paced, acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiovascular procedures and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in high-pressure surgical settings.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from NBSTSA (required).
- Proven experience as a CVOR Surgical Technologist.
- Strong experience in large hospital or acute care settings.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical environment.
- Candidates must be available for interviews during the following time windows: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (ET) 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (ET)
- Only candidates meeting all mandatory requirements will be considered.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, instruments, and equipment.
- Ensure proper handling and organization of surgical tools and supplies.
- Anticipate surgeon needs during procedures.
- Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Support overall efficiency and workflow within the operating room.
