About The Position

The Virginia Beach SPCA (VBSPCA) Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced licensed veterinary technician to join their dedicated team of veterinary professionals. The VBSPCA is a full-service clinic that focuses on high-volume spay/neuter, dental procedures, specialty surgeries, and routine veterinary care. This position will primarily be a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on their mobile spay/neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter. This position may be scheduled in their main clinic and/or satellite clinic as needed to maintain operations.

Requirements

• 1 year of LVT licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• 1 year of surgical and anesthesia experience

Responsibilities

• Primarily a surgical technician scheduled for surgeries, dental procedures, and on the mobile spay/neuter vehicle, the Neuter Scooter.
• May be scheduled in the main clinic and/or satellite clinic as needed to maintain operations.
