Surgical Technician
About The Position
Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time or part-time Surgical Technician in the Operating Room to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home. Our Surgical Tech is an essential part of our OR team and is responsible for caring for patients of various ages: infant, children, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Function as a surgical tech during operative and other invasive procedures. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. Prepares the operating room for surgical procedures in a timely fashion, assists the surgeon during surgical procedures, maintains a sterile field at all times in the procedure area. South Dakota surgical technician license and CPR certification is required. Experience is necessary for this position.
