About The Position
The role encompasses assisting with the patient care in the surgical setting through the provision of technical assistance to the surgical team members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required. In lieu of High school diploma or GED, completion of approved Surgical Technology course will be accepted.
- Minimum 6 month’s experience in the surgical scrub role setting or completion of a course for Surgical Technology.
- Aseptic technique in the surgical setting.
- Able to work in the fast paced environment and manage/prioritize/complete work assignments and other duties as assigned.
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS card is required.
