About The Position
Scrub for surgery, assist in the care of surgical patients, and manage and care for supplies and equipment related to surgery. The role requires the ability to address age-related needs for all patients according to AORN standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Certification as Surgical Technologist from a nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire date after 12/29/2020
- Complete 10 hours of continuing education annually to maintain certification
- BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire)
