Requirements

  • Operation of OR equipment
  • Operation of Central Supply equipment
  • Scheduling procedures
  • Knowledge of procedures done at Crawford County Memorial Hospital and preference cards
  • Understanding of sterile technique
  • Anticipate surgeon’s needs
  • Keep a calm attitude in stressful circumstances
  • BLS
  • Scrub tech certification
  • Ability to care for all patient populations
  • One to two years recent experience in a surgical setting – scrub tech, RN, LPN
  • Two years as CNA who exhibits excellent knowledge of sterile technique will be considered

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer graduate of accredited Surgical Technologists program (RN’s and LPN’s are able to function as a scrub nurse with the same orientation as a scrub tech)
