About The Position

We are hiring a Surgical Technician, Labor and Delivery I to join our Labor and Delivery team. In this role, you will support surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals by helping maintain a safe surgical environment, preparing equipment and supplies, and assisting with patient care activities. Your contributions will play an important role in ensuring safe and efficient care for patients and families.

• Knowledgeable in surgical procedures, sterile technique, and operating room practices.
• Able to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment.
• Dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to patients and families.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during Labor and Delivery procedures while maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after procedures.
• Support patient care activities, including assisting with patients in triage as directed.
• Assist with operating room turnover, including procedure breakdown and preparation for future cases.
• Provide instrument care and support daily operations within the Labor and Delivery surgical area.
