About The Position

The Surgical Technician - General Surgery position is within the General Surgery Department at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. Providence is offering a hiring bonus of up to $20,000 for eligible external candidates. This role is full-time, day shift, 40 hours a week. The Surgical Technologist is an active member of the Operating Room Team, responsible for providing quality surgical patient care, maintaining a safe and aseptic surgical environment, and teaching other surgical team members proper surgical technique. The position reports to the department manager or assistant nurse manager. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program or completion of a training program in a branch of the armed forces or in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corp or work experience even if education is from a non-accredited surgical technologist program.
• Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of Current experience as a surgical technologist.
• 2 years of OR surgical technologist experience.
