About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support our Operating Room team in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist with direct patient care activities before, during, and after surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient operating environment.
The ideal candidate is committed to patient safety, demonstrates strong clinical skills, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced surgical setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Computer literacy and proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain sterile fields throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Adhere to all infection prevention, safety and HIPAA requirements.
• Prepare, organize and handle surgical trays and instruments.
• Ensure proper operation, care and maintenance of surgical instruments and clinical equipment.
• Protect patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
