About The Position

Key responsibilities include meticulous counting of surgical items, maintaining equipment, and preparing the surgical team. Requirements

• Proficiency in counting surgical supplies (sponges, rags, needles, instruments).
• Knowledge of operating room equipment (lights, suction machines).
• Ability to assist surgical teams with gowning and gloving.
• Skills in washing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
• Capability to clean, organize, and restock operating rooms.

Responsibilities

• Count sponges, rags, needles, and instruments before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure proper operation of equipment, such as lights and suction machines.
• Assist the surgical team with scrubbing in and putting on gloves and masks.
• Wash and sterilize all medical instruments and equipment following surgeries.
• Clean, organize and restock the operating room after surgical procedures.
