About The Position
The Surgical Tech will facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. This role involves preparing the surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies, handing required and requested instruments and supplies to the surgeon during surgery, assisting with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients. The Surgical Tech will also maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitor and track instrument counts throughout procedures, and assist surgeons with the provision of hemostasis during surgery.
Requirements
- High school diploma equivalency AND completion of a surgical technologist program with a clinical component OR a minimum of 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

- Associate's degree or technical degree preferred.
