About The Position

Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Tech to join their team. This role involves preparing the operating room and surgical team for a variety of procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and assisting the surgical team. The hospital is a 443-bed acute care facility with a Level One Trauma Center and 24/7 operations, featuring 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites. They offer diverse multi-specialty experience including Trauma, Neuro, Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, and Plastics/Reconstruction. Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist
• High school diploma or GED
• American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program
• Certified as a surgical technologist
• Two (2) years clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up case carts.
• Use aseptic technique with sterile supplies.
• Open sterile supplies utilizing sterile technique.
• Sterilize appropriate camera, scope, and cables in the Steris based on physician preferences.
• Assist nursing staff in providing patient care.
• Perform OR room turnover in an efficient manner.
• Adapt to changing OR environment and maintain OR cleanliness using standard precautions.
