About The Position

Saint Joseph's Medical Center is looking for a Per Diem Surgical Tech for our Operating Room. The role will provide direct patient care to infant to geriatric patient population under the direct supervision of an RN. The Surgical Tech will demonstrate safety and accuracy in performing treatments and procedures, and exhibit excellent communication skills. A minimum of 1 year of experience in scrubbing and at least one year of experience in the operating room is required. Candidates must be at least 30 minutes away when on call.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technician Program
• Surgical Technician Certification
• BLS
• At least 1 year experience in scrubbing
• At least one year experience in the operating room
• Must be at least 30 minutes away when on call
