About The Position

This role provides competent clinical, technical, scientific, administrative, and/or supportive services based on CCHMC policy, best practice guidelines, and/or department needs as defined in program-specific guidelines. The individual will perform all assigned duties and comply with all department clinical, research, operational, and regulatory standards. They will act as a customer advocate, striving to meet the needs of and support patients, families, and/or colleagues. A customer focus will be utilized to complete assignments and/or interact with others in a courteous, attentive, and conscientious manner, responding quickly to requests and concerns, and providing appropriate education/information. Flexible, culturally competent, and responsive care to the needs of the patient and family will be provided, offering information, services, and support in a collaborative and respectful manner. The role involves working collaboratively/cooperatively with others, learning to follow direction to resolve problems and achieve goals. Positive working relationships with peers/colleagues will be developed, acknowledging others’ skills, experience, knowledge, creativity, and contributions, and providing support for team members. A positive and professional work environment/atmosphere will be contributed to and promoted. Records will be managed per department policy, assisting with the collection and entry of data for various forms and information systems. Consent and release of information forms will be obtained when indicated, and patient files, records, and other information will be properly maintained. Adherence to established documentation practices with accurate and detailed data entry and document management will be demonstrated. All coursework in the specific discipline will be completed within the assigned deadline, engaging in all aspects of training, and approaching the training with an inquisitive and professional demeanor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible for admission/enrollment in position/function certification program (as applicable)
  • Must maintain satisfactory performance AND successfully complete all job-specific training as defined by program guidelines
  • Obtain program-specific certification/licensure AND register with all applicable governing body by date specified in program guidelines
