Scope of Work The Surgical Technologist Senior will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols. Acts as a preceptor and engages with management and education team on surgical technology curriculum.

  • High school diploma Required
  • 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience. Certification must be maintained throughout employment to maintain Senior status Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
  • Surgical Technologist Certified (CST) - NBSTSA or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) NCCT Required upon hire
  • Associate's Degree. Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) Preferred
