Surgical Tech Preceptor - Temporary
About The Position
Jefferson Healthcare is currently looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Tech Preceptor to cover shifts and train surgical technicians in our in-house training starting on September 14, lasting about six months. This valued member of our team plays a crucial role in assisting with all aspects of surgery, including preparing the surgical room by sterilizing and laying out the necessary surgical instruments, as well as providing assistance during procedures. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to delivering the highest level of patient care, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalency
- Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration
- Current BLS
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Two years surgical services experience preferred
- National Certification preferred
