About The Position

Join our team as a Day shift, Fulltime, Surgical Tech / CST, at INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital, in Yukon, OK. INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking a dedicated caregiver to join us in our mission to partner with people to live healthier lives. This role is suitable for individuals beginning their careers in surgical services or transitioning from other clinical or patient care roles.

Requirements

BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire
NCCT-TS-C (Tech in Surgery-Certified) OR AST-CST (Certified Surgical Tech)
May consider a non-certified tech that has completed a surgical technology program or has at least 1 year of scrub experience

Responsibilities

Assists in maintaining the sterile field under supervision.
Demonstrates an understanding of the procedure and supports surgical team needs.
Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
Scrubs, gowns, and gloves appropriately.
Sets up sterile tables with instruments and supplies under guidance.
Performs instrument and sponge counts with the circulator.
Passes instruments during surgery.
Aids in cleaning and preparing instruments for sterilization.
Supports terminal cleaning of rooms and preparation for the next procedure.
May retrieve and transport medications (no preparation or administration).
