About The Position

Assists in the preparation, delivery, and clean-up of patient care during the intra-operative phase. Contributes to the smooth operation of the unit. Obtains and organizes necessary equipment, sterile supplies, and instruments for each surgical case. Assembles surgical supplies for rooms and case tables. Opens sterile supplies for surgical procedures. Cleans equipment (including decontamination and sterilization of instruments), work areas, and reusable supplies and returns unneeded equipment to the appropriate department. Also follows up on equipment needing repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• AHA or ARC American Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 Days required

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in related field Preferred
• 2 years of relevant experience Patient Care Preferred
• 1 year of relevant experience in Operating Room Preferred
• Anesthesia Technician Certification (Cer. A.T.) preferred
