About The Position
This fellowship is designed for individuals seeking to begin an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) residency in July 2026-2027. The role involves developing and executing a research project, performing advanced OMFS procedures on patients at the College of Dentistry, assisting faculty in the operating room, and supervising the undergraduate oral surgery clinic.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited U.S. dental school with a DDS or DMD.
- Successful completion of Parts I & II National Boards.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a license to practice dentistry in the State of Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out one research project.
- Perform advanced OMFS on College of Dentistry patients.
- Assist faculty in the operating room.
- Help supervise the undergraduate oral surgery clinic.
