About The Position

HireNow Staffing is recruiting experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses for surgical services opportunities in Overland Park, Kansas. This position requires at least one year of recent OR nursing experience involving scrub and/or circulating responsibilities. Full-time daytime schedules are available, with required on-call participation. Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility to meet the on-call requirement. U.S.-based candidates considering relocation must be able to meet this requirement before assuming on-call duties. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner.

Requirements

• At least one year of recent OR RN scrub/circulating experience.
• Active, unencumbered Kansas RN license or an applicable multistate compact RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work the stated daytime schedule and required on-call assignments.
• Residence within 30 minutes of the facility.
• All RN licenses must be verified through Nursys for current or prior disciplinary actions.
• Candidates with any history of nursing-license disciplinary action cannot be submitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care and support safe surgical procedures.
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties appropriate to training, competency, and assignment.
• Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.
• Support sterile technique, patient safety checks, and accurate documentation.
• Communicate patient needs during handoffs and transitions of care.
• Participate in the required on-call rotation.
