To provide efficient customer service support, resources, information, and a variety of other tasks in to assure the visitors, patients, staff and physicians needs are met. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, preferably in the medical field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel and strong computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Support, utilize and work directly with volunteers to assign wayfinding assignments to patients and support other guest/visitor needs.
- Retrieve emails sent to the department inbox and perform the appropriate action (schedule meeting, forward information, actions, etc)
- Assure visitor's compliance with children visitation policies including completion of the "Health Screening form for Pediatric Visitors" in the Mother/Baby Unit.
- Support and escort patients and visitors through the surgical department.
- Obtain necessary authorizations/clearance.
- Notify various departments of work environment needs in a timely manner.
- Provide superior customer service by greeting and welcoming everyone encountered.
