About The Position

This position is for night shift only, covering Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM; three 12-hour shifts. Call is required, with a maximum of 10 calls per contract, likely fewer. Call shifts are after 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM and weekends. Weekend shifts are call only, covering 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday. There is a possibility of floating to our 2nd-floor Outpatient ORs. Must have level 1 trauma experience.

Requirements

• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• BLS required.
• At least five years of experience in the following areas: Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, GYN, Neuro/Spine, Ortho (including Total Joints: Hip, Knee, Shoulder), Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Urology, Vascular.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical support as an OR Tech / Surgical Tech.
• Work night shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Be available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
• Potentially float to Outpatient ORs on the 2nd floor.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and other tasks.
• Assist in various surgical specialties including Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, GYN, Neuro/Spine, Ortho (including Total Joints: Hip, Knee, Shoulder), Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Urology, and Vascular.
