About The Position

Provides educational support to the Department of Surgical Services. Responsible for providing all members of the Surgical Service team, whether licensed or unlicensed, educational services to assure required training and competencies are maintained. Works with the Office Manager and leadership team on electronic medical records, updating physician preference cards, and troubleshooting problems. Monitors and responds to quality/safety events. Identifies, develops, implements, and monitors performance improvement activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as a RN in the state of Alabama.
• BLS required.
• PALS required.
• ACLS required.
• Minimum 5 years OR and/surgery experience.

Responsibilities
