About The Position

This role is for a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) in a busy Surgical Services department. The department features 23 Operating Rooms and 1 procedure room, handling both elective and emergency surgeries for adult and pediatric patients across various specialties. The shift is 4x10, from 0700 to 1730. This position requires being on call one time per week and working one weekend per month.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Surgical Tech (CST).
• Alternatively, must have worked as a tech prior to 2015.
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment during surgery.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties, including one call per week and one weekend per month.
