Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in surgery scheduling, preferably in a multi-facility healthcare environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between various stakeholders.
Proficiency in surgical scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Detail-oriented with the ability to verify patient information and insurance details accurately.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards (e.g., HIPAA) is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures for multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to surgeon availability.
Communicate effectively with surgeons, patients, operating room staff, and other relevant departments to confirm scheduling details.
Manage surgical calendars, resolve scheduling conflicts, and optimize operating room utilization.
