About The Position

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a board-eligible / board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join their practice. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy medical and surgical retina practice within Mayo Clinic’s collaborative, mission-driven academic environment. Additional niche expertise is desirable. The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional surgical proficiency, experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, a strong commitment to teaching, and active participation in clinical research. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and contributing to education and scholarship at a national academic medical center.
