Surgical Services - Perioperative Assistant
About The Position
Join Cleveland Clinic Main Campus as a Surgical Process Technician for a 13-week assignment working 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Mid Shift). This role supports surgical and perioperative operations by ensuring efficient workflow, patient support, and coordination within the surgical environment. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting. During the first three weeks of orientation, the technician will train on day shift (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM) to become familiar with departmental operations and processes.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment required
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams required
- Willingness to complete orientation on day shift for the first three weeks required
- Two supervisory references required for submission
- Must comply with all Cleveland Clinic onboarding and compliance requirements
