This role is equal parts science, service, and heart. If you're looking for a meaningful, hands-on career where your technical expertise directly saves lives—this is the opportunity for you. Join a team that works with urgency, compassion, and unmatched clinical precision. Become a Surgical Preservation Coordinator and help carry hope into the operating room. As a Surgical Preservation Coordinator, you'll be on the front lines in the operating room, working shoulder-to-shoulder with hospital OR staff, transplant surgeons, and surgical teams during one of the most critical moments of the organ donation process. You’ll be scrubbing in, preserving life-saving organs, and ensuring every recovery is handled with precision, care, and purpose. Every decision you make, every organ you package, and every device you operate directly impacts the lives of recipients waiting for a second chance. You’ll be the technical and clinical expert that surgical teams rely on to ensure the viability of each donor organ—and that can mean the difference between life and death. In this role you will be in the operating room helping to coordinate the surgical recovery of donor organs after neurological or circulatory death. You will ensure every recovery meets federal regulations, hospital protocols, and Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) policies.
