About The Position

Stamford Health is currently seeking an experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team! This is an immediate need for a Physician Assistant to work in the Surgical Subspecialties at Stamford Hospital. This is a full-time position requiring clinical work and OR First Assist. The PA will assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical and surgical conditions which range from chronic diseases, acute illnesses, and health care maintenance. Under the direction of or in consultation with a physician, the PA will provide a broad spectrum of general patient care. Patient population includes approximately 95% Urology and Neurosurgery with an occasional Oral and Maxillofacial and ENT patients.

Requirements

• Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant
• Full-time position
• Ability to perform clinical work and OR First Assist
• Ability to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
• Ability to provide a broad spectrum of general patient care under the direction of or in consultation with a physician.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Urology, Neurosurgery, Oral and Maxillofacial, and ENT patients.
