Surgical Physician Assistant
About The Position
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. Working under the supervision of an attending physician, the PA provides care across outpatient clinics, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, nursing homes, and other approved care environments. The Physician Assistant performs medical services within the scope of New York State regulations and Montefiore policies, participating in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients. The selected candidate may also develop and obtain validation for department-specific procedural skills unique to Otorhinolaryngology. This position is four days per week, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license.
- NCCPA certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).
- Previous experience as a Physician Assistant.
