About The Position
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a position in anatomic pathology. The candidate should be eligible for a Louisiana Medical License. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or MD/PhD, or the equivalent)
- Board-certified/eligible in AP, or AP/CP with proper subspecialty fellowship training
- Eligible for a Louisiana Medical License
Nice To Haves
- Subspecialty fellowship training, preferably in GU, Gyn/breast, pulmonary or head-and-neck pathology
Responsibilities
- Sign-out of general surgical pathology cases
- Teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows
- Research activities that pertain to the applicant’s clinical and/or academic interests
- Serving on Departmental and/or University committees when needed
