About The Position

Medical City Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a PRN Surgical Technologist. The role prepares the surgical suite and assists during operations in collaboration with the surgical team. Requirements

Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
No experience required.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.
Scrub in and support the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating team needs.
Monitor patients and surgical equipment during procedures and respond promptly to concerns.
Maintain sterile technique, complete room turnover efficiently, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
