About The Position

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Oncology team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This role involves performing Operating Room first assist duties, rounding on patients in the hospital, assisting in the management of post-operative and critically ill patients, evaluating Surgical Oncology and HPB Surgery patients in the office setting, and applying specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas. The role contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provides leadership to the organization.

Requirements

Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification
Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification and RNFA certification

Responsibilities

Perform OR first assist duties
Round on patients in the hospital
Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients
Evaluate Surgical Oncology and HPB Surgery patients in the office setting
Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas
