We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager / Surgical Neurophysiologist to combine advanced clinical expertise with operational leadership. In this role, you will continue providing high-quality IntraOperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM) while leading a regional team of neurophysiologists, fostering clinical excellence, supporting business growth, and ensuring exceptional service for our surgeons and healthcare partners. Since 2010, INN has been accredited by The Joint Commission, monitoring over 40,000 patients annually. Requirements

  • Active CNIM certification.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as defined by ABRET for CNIM eligibility
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, pathologic processes, and aseptic techniques.
  • Five (5) or more years of IONM experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neuroanatomy, pathologic processes, aseptic techniques, and multiple IONM modalities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced education
  • Experience mentoring clinical staff and managing regional operations
  • Experience with advanced monitoring modalities, including Cortical Mapping, D-waves , BAEPs, and cranial nerve monitoring

Responsibilities

  • Perform preoperative patient assessments including medical history review, informed consent, and monitoring plan coordination with the surgical team and interpreting physician
  • Measure and apply recording electrodes; set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot neuromonitoring equipment
  • Provide continuous real-time intraoperative monitoring using SSEPs, MEPs, EMG, EEG, BAEPs, cranial nerve monitoring, and other modalities as indicated
  • Analyze and interpret electrophysiological waveforms while recognizing anesthetic and physiologic influences
  • Communicate monitoring findings in real time to the interpreting physician and surgical team
  • Complete post-operative technical reports, documentation, and billing records
  • Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and supplies according to company standards
  • Participate in regional call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, OR staff, and hospital leadership
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, quarterly case audits, grand rounds, and continuing education
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the assigned region in collaboration with clinical leadership
  • Ensure reliable staffing and coverage for all scheduled procedures and regional call schedules
  • Coordinate daily case assignments while balancing workload, staffing availability, and patient needs
  • Maintain positive relationships with surgeons, anesthesia providers, operating room leadership, hospital administration, and healthcare partners
  • Facilitate communication among clinical staff, remote interpreting physicians, and healthcare facilities
  • Support regional business growth through relationship development and collaboration with executive leadership
  • Manage regional equipment, supplies and inventory to ensure operational readiness
  • Coordinate regional meetings, communication, scheduling, and administrative activities
  • Mentor and support technical staff through coaching, feedback, professional development, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Support a culture of clinical quality by promoting consistent monitoring practices, strong documentation habits, timely communication, and alignment with company standards
