About The Position

Advanced Pain Care is seeking a Medical Device Rep/Clinical Navigator to join their growing company. This role specializes in guiding patients through spinal cord stimulation (SCS) and its associated technologies. The Navigator will help patients overcome obstacles to receiving the care and treatment they require. The position involves scheduling pre-op, post-op, and follow-up office visits related to SCS, conducting phone follow-ups, reconciling cases with medical device representatives, preparing patient materials, collaborating with scheduling and pre-authorization teams, and reprogramming patient devices when necessary. The role requires adherence to all company policies, regular attendance, and completion of other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present well in a formal business environment as well as in the clinic
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of healthcare facilities and processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare field (Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy preferred)
  • Ability to comprehend speech and effectively communicate with others
  • Ability to understand, follow, and convey written and oral instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Compliance with the attendance policy
  • Compliance with continuing and mandatory education programs
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to function independently without constant supervision
  • Enthusiastic personality and high motivation to excel and grow within the company

Nice To Haves

  • STIM experience highly preferred
  • Experience as a Device Clinical Specialist Preferred
  • Previous medical sales experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedules patients for pre-op, post-op and follow-up office visits related to SCS
  • Conducts phone follow-up calls and keeps phone journals for patients who have had SCS implants
  • Reconciles weekly cases with medical device representatives
  • Prepares patients materials for procedures
  • Collaborates with scheduling and pre-authorization teams regarding upcoming procedures
  • Reprograms patient devices when necessary
  • Adheres to all Advanced Pain Care and departmental policies
  • Displays regular and predictable attendance
  • Completes other job duties as assigned
