About The Position
Best Value Dentures and Implants Tampa is looking for a Surgical Dental Assistant. This is a privately owned dental office where a 5-Star patient experience always comes first. The role thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment working with implants and dentures. The office has an amazing culture where the entire team loves coming to the office each day. Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience with a surgical focus
- Hands-on experience assisting with implant placement and denture procedures
- Comfortable working with surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile field
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A willingness to be flexible and accommodating with your schedule
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CBCTs and digital imaging a plus
- Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Mastery in chair-side surgical assisting for implant and denture procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease in a surgical setting
- Comfortable discussing treatment and financial options with patients
- Consistent in cleanliness, timeliness, and customer service
