Job Description: Surgical Critical Care APP (PA/NP) Per-Diem Opportunity Burlington, MA About Us: Nationally recognized 345-bed tertiary hospital Level 1 Trauma Center Two 12-bed Surgical ICUs (SICU & CTICU) Collaborative team: 12 APPs, 14 Intensivists, Residents Diverse patients: Cardiothoracic, Trauma, Transplant, Neurosurgery, What We Offer: Great team environment in a patient-focused critical care setting APP-friendly institution Personalized critical care training for top-of-license practice (including procedures) Paid CME & licensing Epic Medical Record Your Impact: Direct care for critically ill surgical patients. Manage: Ventilators, resuscitation, hemodynamics, ECMO, vasopressors/inotropes. Perform procedures: Invasive lines, chest tubes (based on ability). Rotate between SICU & CTICU.
Requirements
- MA PA license required
- Must work nights & weekends
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years Critical Care, EM, or CT Surgery experience
- Critical Care Fellowship
Responsibilities
- Direct care for critically ill surgical patients
- Manage: Ventilators, resuscitation, hemodynamics, ECMO, vasopressors/inotropes
- Perform procedures: Invasive lines, chest tubes (based on ability)
- Rotate between SICU & CTICU
