Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years working in a surgeon’s office.
• Travel to satellite offices may be required.

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years surgical scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the surgical schedules of 1-2 physicians.
• Scheduling the surgery.
• Verifying the patient’s insurance.
• Pre-authorizing the surgeries.
• Maintaining contact with the patient throughout the scheduling process.
• Patient registration.
• Scanning and charge entry to assist the team when warranted.
• Some travel may be required.
