About The Position

The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.). The Operating Room at Chelsea performs more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually in various fields including gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma
• A minimum of one-year previous related experience.
