Surgical Care Tech Operating Room
About The Position
The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.). This is a part-time, benefit-eligible position working 40 hours per pay period (every two weeks) on the Day Shift, with varying start times between 6 am and 8 am. On-call is required one weekend every couple of months. The Operating Room at Chelsea performs over 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries annually in various fields including gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma
- A minimum of one-year previous related experience.
