Lafayette Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Group is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Surgical Assistant to join their team. Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Surgical Tech is a plus
- Certification from a Dental Assisting program is helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist the Oral Surgeon during procedures (surgical extractions, implants, etc.)
- Prepare and maintain surgical rooms and instruments
- Take high-quality dental x-rays
- Monitor vitals and chart during procedures
- Comfort and educate patients before and after surgery
- Keep records up-to-date and organized
- Help with front desk/admin tasks as needed
